A couple of weeks ago I was invited by Guess to host one their events at the Aventura Mall in Miami. It was really exiting for me to see some of you there, it really made my heart beat faster.

Lately I have been extreamly careful with my skin.
I will talk about the famous mask that a lot of you have seen on my instagram.
At first I thought my dermatologist was being a little over exaggerated when she mentioned having to use it, but to be completly honest it has worked wonderfully and I have been able to tell the difference in how my skin has improved and thanks to that we have been inseparable since that day in aditon of a rigurous beauty routine.
If you follow me or know me on a personal level you know how important and interesting it is for me anything related to skin care, speacially after my pregnancy with all the hormonal chages my body went through.
Due to all these hormonal changes that I went through, my skin pigmentation changed and I became very sensitive to the rays of the sun making some sun spots appear on my face, which was truly terrible, I had no idea on how to start to treat them but since then I have discovered a numerous amount of treatments and supplements and the perfect excuse to treat myself to many hats and sunnies that I love!!!

Holaaaaa!!!! Si soy yo debajo de etsa mascara! A peticion y curiosidad de mis seguidores, aqui les traigo un post para todos!! Ultimamente he estado teniendo extremos cuidados con mi piel. Les contare sobre la famosa mascara que muchos de ustedes han visto en instagram, al principio me parecio un poco exagerado de mi dermatologa cuando lo menciono, pero en realidad me ha servido montones porque he visto la gran mejoria y ha sido una compañera inseparable desde el dia que nos encontramos, junto con una rutina de belleza y algunos suplementos! Si eres seguidor de mis redes socialaes o me conoces sabes muy bien lo importante y lo mucho que me interasa el cuidado de la piel, especialmente despues del embarazo y ver la transformacion que mi piel experimento debido a todos los cambios hormonales por los que el cuerpo pasa. Debido a estos cambios hormonales, la pigmentacion de la piel se altero y me volvi super sensible al sol y se me formaron pequeñas manchas, lo cual fue realmente terrible no sabia por donde empezar a tratarlas, de ahi fue donde descubri una cantidad de tratamientos de vitaminas y una excusa para complacerme con muchos sombreros y gafas! descubran mas de mi rutina de belleza , la mascara, las cremas, los suplementos vitaminicos... en mi mas reciente entrada en mi espacio en VOGUE, Jenny On The Go.

This dress is a great versatile piece easy to dress it up and dress it down, just like I did that day by pairing it up with some summery leather flat sandals, a harness to give it a little bit of an edge and an artisinal light weight hat I found on my latest trip to Colombia, ideal for these sunny days.

Today sporting around a monochromatic look on the sleek side for a hectic day of meetings...Not something that I normally wear, but it's one of those many women that I am. It kind of made me feel put together and execute life with confidence, and the results I can say are pretty much to my liking!
The trick to pull this monochromatic outfit off is to play along with textures and shades of the same color, this will give the look dimension and contrast.

I paired my look with a grey leather vest and some suede botties to make the look a little bit more contemporary.

My day ended up at the PAMM one of my favorite spots in Miami, not only the museum is filled with amazing art installations but the surrondings of the PAMM are absolutlty beautiful with amazingly landscaped gardens and a delicious restaurant overlooking the bay.
Also a great location for my monochromatic outfit, the perfect contrast between concrete surrondings and blue skies to highlight the beauty of the monotone color of this look!

It's very rewarding and exiting to get to do what you love, I enjoyed this project since I started picking the clothes from my closet, thinking about the perfect location for the shoot, photographing, editing and finally posting the story.

What I love the most is the integration of the organic shapes weld in to the metals creating these beautiful cuffs and rings and also the use of natural stones intengrated in to a piece that is yet bohemian and at the same time elegant, soo my style!
Lo que mas me gusta de su linea es la manera en la que integra figuras organicas en metales creando hermosas pulseras y anillos y tambien la manera en que integra piedras naturales a piezas clasicas dandoles un elemneto bohemio y a la vez elegnate. Super mi estilo!
It was a fun project were a group of like minded people got toghether to work on putting a concept together and working hand in hand to deliver a visual feature for your eyes to enjoy.
Producing this shoot for the launch of this collection was a lot of fun, picking the looks and workig with the styling was the best part of it all.
Finding that special outfit to go with the right accessories, it was great not only being able to find the looks but also being able to incorporate, my finds of new designers and regulars that I often feature and use on a dalily basis.
Fue un proyecto super divertido de elaborar, donde un grupo de gente con ideas en común trabajamaos juntos para desarrollar un concepto, en el cual pudieramos traerles a ustedes unas inagenes que hablen por si solas.
Organizar este foto shoot fue muy entretenido, especialmente la parte del estilismo, fue lo que mas me gusto hacer de todo.
Encontrar los looks perfectos para ir de acuerdo con los accesorios, siempre es la mejor parte para mi, poder incorporar diseñadores nuevos y mis tesoros vintage que uso con frecuencia.

This time it was with a brand that I love and have been a fan and loyal customer for many years and thanks to the amazing relationship that we have developed throughout this time I was able to callaborate with them and be the face of the latest campaing for Pretty Ballerinas Fall-Winter 2015.
It was such a fun project to work on, not only for the love that I have for the brand and the people behind it, but also beacuse they decided to pack their bags and head over to Miami and shoot with me in my home town.
We went all over the most iconic spots in Miami, walking around and sightseeing, the shoes not only looked great but they were comfortable too.
I was inspired by Miami's architecture, weather, contrasts, texture and street style when choosing the looks that I wanted to feature for this story, mix and matching favorite brands and my beloved vintage treasures.

Me inspire en la arquitectura, clima, contrastes, textura y estilo callejero de Miami al escoger los looks que usamos para la campaña. Espero que lo hallan disfrutado tanto como yo lo disfrute trabajando con un equipo de gente super talentosa y buenos amigos.
A couple of months ago I had the fortune to meet Sophie Simone, beautiful, charming and multitalented woman that besides all the thinks I mentioned before she designs AMAIZING jewelry hand made by Mexican artisans.
We had partnered for a collaboration with her most recent collection, where her love for her native Mexico is reflected in each of the jewelry pieces. She's got french blood as well from her mother's side, What a mix!!! To me this is what gives her and her jewelry that "je ne sais quoi' that parisian girls posses and the latin happiness and passion.
Her pieces are timeless and and unique, and they are gonna be a conversation starter anywhere you wear them.
Hace un par de meses tuve la fortuna de conocer a Sophie Simone, una mujer aparte de encantadora es multitalentosa, y entre tantas cosas que hace, diseña unas joyas maravillosas hechas por artesanos Mexicanos.
Decidimos hacer una colaboracion con su mas reciente coleccion, donde refleja su amor y sus raices mexicanas. Tambien tiene sangre Francesa por parte de su madre, tremenda combinacion!!! Y esto para mi es lo que le da a ella y a sus diseños ese "je ne sais quoi" de la parisinas y la pasion y alegria latina.
Sus piezas son atemporales y únicas, y en cualquier ocasion que se lleven van a ser por seguro un tema de conversación.

After a well deserved vacation in Cartagena Colombia and literally jumping off of the plain to come and attend and invitation exteded to me by Clinique to try out new products, I came across a few products that I highly recommend to all.

Fue completamente destinado a ser, depsues de una semana bajo el sol, esto era justo lo que mi piel necesitaba, especialmente con los productos de Clinique, la cual a sido una marca que ha estado en el mercado por tantos años ayudandole a personas con piel sensible y tambien a la relacion que he tenido con ellos por tantos años trabajando juntos como modelo, lo cual me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer sus porductos y realmente recomendarlos porque creo en ellos.

One of the novelties I tried were the Lip Pop Lipsticks, they come in so many different colors!

A three step beauty regime, and for the last couple of weeks I've been using the one from Clinique,
1. I love the liquid facial soap because it removes all impurities and make up with the most gentle impact. Two to three times a week I use the purifiying cleansing brush to exfoliate.
2. I use the toner, which also has moisturizing benefits and enjoy the happy feeling that leaves on.
3. I apply clinique smart custom repair serum because it reacts to the particular needs of each person skin. My objective lately is to get a more even skin tone look so that I can see a difference. I just love the fact that I notice the effect of the product.
And last but not least, I seal my beauty regime with the moisturizing lotion.

Un régimen de belleza de tres pasos, y pos las ultimas semanas he estado usando el de Clinique.
1. estoy encantada con el jabon liquido porque remueve las impurezas y maquillaje muy delicadamente. De dos a tres veces por semana utilizo el cepillo purificador para hacer exfoliación.
2. Sigo mi rutina con el tonico que tiene una accion humectante y adoro esa sensacion fresquita que deja sobre mi piel.
3. Aplico el suero reparador que responde deacuerdo a las nesecidades particulares de la piel de cada persona. Mi mayor preocupacion ahora mismo es conseguir un tono uniforme en la piel, y ya veo la diferencia y me pone muy contenta ver los resultados y efectos que estoy consiguiendo con este producto.
Y por ultimo y muy importante, hay que sellar la piel con una buena crema humectante.

After spending some minutes prepping my skin, I use a liquid concealer in the same shade color of my skin, no lighter!
I am not a big fan of countouring or camouflaging my features. I prefer to go for the highlighter that shows luminosity without the sparkles. You place it where the light naturally hits the skin.
For the blush or bronzer it is ideal to apply onto the apples of the cheeks, brushing slightly outwards towards the ears, to aim towards that youthful look. You should not be able to see any shape or edge to a line, it all should blend into nothingness. Another tip, is not using powder, it drives me crazy and most women look better without it.
For the eyes, I use the chubby stick in a sheer wash of lightweight, creamy colour slips on. Layerable and long-wearing. Versatile, too. For this make up, I am using a fuller shade and lots o' latte, giving a little sparkle on my eyes but still looking super natural. And for a more define look some quickliner in intense truffle color, some mascara and voila, a natural look for every day!

Cuando hablo de maquillaje para mi siempre MENOS ES MAS.
Despues de invertir unos minutos preparando mi piel, me aplico una base liquida ultra liviana del mismo tono de mi piel, no mas clara!
No soy fan de enmarcar los contornos de mi cara o camuflar las facciones. Prefiero aplicar iluminadores sin brillo. Los aplico donde la luz naturalmente pega.
El rubor y bronceador es ideal aplicarlo el las manzanitas de las mejillas, barriendo ligeramente hacia las orejas, esto es para ese efecto juvenil. No debe notarse ninguna forma u orilla de lineas, todo esto se debe desvanecer de una manera uniforme. No a los polvos, no me gustan para nada, y la mayoria de las mujeres se ven mejor sin esto.
Para los ojos el chubby stick, una capita delgada de maquillaje que a su vez tambien se puede hacer grueso haciendo muy versátil, suave aplicación y de larga duración. Y para definir el look esta el quickliner color intense truffle, un poquito de pestañina y aui un look natural para todos los días!

It is amazing how time passes quickly, fashion world is always ahead, makes living all over in a hurry, which excites me, but thinking more carefully, sometimes it causes me some kind of anxiety to be watching at what's coming ... we are just starting fall, and already we are preparing for resort ... you know what I mean? It does not give you sometimes a similar kind of feeling?
